1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the is.art platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Operator Information

The Service is operated by Art Handles Creative Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland.

3. Nature of the Service

is.art provides users with a licensed handle within the is.art zone (for example, name.is.art). Handles are not domain names, do not confer ownership rights, and do not provide DNS or email functionality. The Service is a combination of a license and associated platform services.

4. License Grant

Subject to compliance with these Terms, is.art grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use a handle. This license may be suspended or terminated if these Terms are violated.

5. Free Handles

Each user may maintain one free handle. Users may release and request a replacement free handle no earlier than seven (7) days after claiming it and no more than three (3) times within any rolling 365-day period.

6. Premium Handles

Premium handles are offered for a one-time fee. A premium handle represents a paid license to use the handle within the Service. It does not constitute ownership or property rights.

7. Refunds

Refunds for premium handles are governed by the separate Refund Policy available at is.art/refund-policy. Except as expressly stated in that policy, all purchases are final.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, trademark infringement, impersonation, phishing, fraud, malware distribution, automated abuse, or SEO manipulation. Adult, gambling, and crypto-related content is permitted only if lawful.

9. Enforcement

is.art reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, revoke, or release any handle, with or without prior notice, particularly in cases of abuse, legal risk, or policy violations.

10. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. is.art does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, is.art shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, reputation, or business opportunities.

12. Changes to the Terms

is.art may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
